Job Summary:
Guaranteed Appliance, a leader in the refurbished appliance market has an immediate opening for a Production Manager to oversee our Greeneville, TN operation. The Production Manager will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the production team, ensuring efficient production processes, and maintaining high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge, excellent leadership skills, have managed a team, have trucking / logistics experience and a proven track record in managing production operations. This position has about 15 employees reporting M-F to hit our production goals.

Responsibilities:

- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Plan, organize, and coordinate production activities to meet production targets and deadlines
- Monitor and optimize production processes to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Supervise and train production staff to ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements
- Maintain accurate production records and reports
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
- Manage inventory levels to meet production demands
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate maintenance activities
- Implement measures to minimize waste and maximize productivity

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of production processes
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment relevant to the industry
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, including inventory management and forklift operation
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
